Vacation Bible Camp

July 18–23, 2021: The Great Adventure

The VBC 2021 theme is The Great Adventure. Life’s great adventure can come with highs and lows much like hiking and climbing mountain!

As we explore the Israelites great adventure from Egypt to the Promised land; kids will learn that God is always with them and will guide their path. They will learn to never give up even when the adventure seems so great! Finally, they will look to help others on their great adventure!

Get ready for VBC 2021 – it all begins July 18!

Who can participate?

Camp is for children K-5th grade for the 2020/2021 school year - Pre K and younger kids can participate too from home!

Not only kids, but the entire family is invited into The Great Adventure! We have multiple ways to be involved in VBC, whether you're in or beyond the Kansas City metro area. By registering today you’ll get priority for in-person options at any Resurrection campus. More details will be released on June 1.

Our plan for this summer will involve 2 tracks if you live in the KC metro area:

In-person with opportunities to gather 4 times at a Resurrection campus of your choice - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:30-11:30 am at the Blue Springs, Leawood, Overland Park or West campus locations and evenings from 5:30-7:30pm at the Downtown location.

At home where you'll get the same great videos, content and fun but on your schedule and from the familiarity of your own home. This option includes age-appropriate Zoom calls during VBC week.

Whether you choose at home or in person you’ll have the chance to participate in kickoff and closing family events done safely outside.

For those beyond Kansas City, you’ll get all the fun and the opportunity to join on Zoom calls, but we will mail your VBC kit to your house. We’ll also give you some ideas to start your VBC experience whenever and wherever it may be.

New this year we are adding two VBC “Specials” for your family to take part in to complete your Great Adventure. Everyone is welcome to attend regardless if signed up to attend VBC in-person or at home!

#1-Sunday Kick-Off, July 18th Attend KiDSCOR in person (9 or 11 a.m.) or Zoom (9:30 a.m.) to get a jump start on the VBC adventure. Later in the day, watch a special video message from Pastor Adam to all the grown-ups sharing about the Israelites adventure in the wilderness and some tips on how to make VBC an excellent adventure for your entire family.

#2-VBC Celebration, Friday, July 23rd 6:30-8:30 p.m. Everyone is invited for a VBC celebration at your campus location. We’ll have games, food, fun, as well as some epic adventure surprises along the way! Bring your friends along for the adventure.

Want to volunteer?

We are in need of volunteers across every campus! Sign-up to serve now, and if you have kids PreK and under, we will provide childcare on a limited basis for those who serve all 4 days of camp.
