Resurrection West,

This weekend will be filled with a Christmas spirit of service, celebration, and joy! We begin with Serve Saturday, meeting at our partner school Ridgeview Elementary, from 9–11:30 am located at:

Ridgeview Elementary
1201 E. Elm St.
Olathe, KS 66061

We will be sorting and preparing gifts for the JOY Store, where children can shop for their loved ones. (This store is made possible by your generosity!) Then on Saturday evening we will share in a Christmas celebration with KiDSCOR and their Jingle Jam in Whoville event from 4–6 pm! We'll begin with a fun-filled show (which I have the privilege of acting in), followed by an after-party with Santa and Mrs. Claus, cocoa bar, ornament station, and a special mission project to bless Children’s Mercy. All are welcome, so invite your friends and come on out to Jingle Jam in Whoville!

Sunday we continue in our Advent series intent on preparing our hearts and minds for Christmas as Pastor Adam explores the promises and prophecies of the coming King. We will sing Christmas praise, spend time in prayer, and more. Remember also to go and stream the new COR Collective Christmas album released just last week on Spotify or Apple Music. You can view and share the latest COR Collective video for "Heaven Roared" on our Facebook page here.

Christmas Eve services begin in just ten days and we need you to sign up to serve now helping to welcome thousands for Candlelight Christmas Eve services on Dec. 23 & 24. Go to cor.org/west/signup to see the many ways your can serve this Christmas. We still need ushers, greeters, nursery workers, hospitality, and more. You will be able to see what services have spots open and how many we need. Thank you for signing up to welcome many who will be coming to hear the hope that is found in Christ!

Finally, here is just one pic from Whoville as our campus has been transformed for Saturday's Jingle Jam celebration. The set designs will be up through Sunday as well so you can capture a favorite holiday photo to share. Thanks to these awesomely creative volunteers!

Looking forward to this weekend as we serve and celebrate together,

Pastor Jason
