Ash Wednesday services at all Resurrection locations will be held on schedule today.
Scheduled programming has resumed for Thursday, February 13 at all Resurrection locations.
But, finding community in today’s world might be harder than ever before. Small groups invite each person to a journey to know, love, and serve God… together. You don’t have to have it all figured out—you can ask hard questions, embrace doubts, and grow alongside others on the same journey.
The small group is designed to equip you to study scripture, practice the Five Essentials of Christian faith, and change the world through community, connection, and serving others.
Small groups at Resurrection are communities of 5-15 people who meet regularly on the journey of becoming deeply committed Christians. Our program is built on an intentional journey, scheduling flexibility, and low-pressure conversations with the potential to become deeper relationships.
Small groups form twice per year during our Open Enrollment registration periods in August and January of each year.

Here’s the truth: you don’t need to have it all figured out to disciple others.
As you grow in your faith, you might feel God calling you to walk alongside others in their journey. Leading a small group is one way to do that. Think of yourself as a facilitator—someone who creates space for honest questions and real relationships. You’re simply saying yes to joining God’s work in your community.

Here are some questions people often ask — and honest answers to help you feel at home.
It’s a group of typically 5-15 people who get together regularly to connect, share life, and grow in their faith together. Many groups use material we provide as the basis for discussion, and others choose their own books — but all of them are primarily about building community.
No! Everyone is welcome. You don’t have to be a member or “have it all figured out” to join in.
No sweat. No biblical knowledge required. Groups will talk about the Bible, but there’s no reason to be worried if you’ve never studied the Bible before.
Many groups continue meeting for years after they get to know one another. That is not an expectation, though! We provide structured material for up to two years, but the important part is that you give your group a shot for at least six sessions. If it’s not the right fit, that’s okay. There’s no pressure.
It depends on the group — and every group is a little bit different, and it includes discussion, prayer, laughter, maybe a group activity, and time to catch up on life.
Most groups typically meet for an hour and a half, just enough time to truly connect.
Resurrection has a lot of different groups. There are groups for different ages, stages of life, interests, and schedules. A lot of groups meet at church, some in homes, some at coffee shops, and some online.
Only if you want to! You can ease in and share when you feel ready.
Depending on the day and time of the group, childcare and children’s programming is available.
We start groups during two focused times throughout the year – August and January. If you want to join a group at another time in the year, just let us know and we’ll try to get you plugged in.
That’s okay, come when you can. We know that there are times you won’t be in town or might be sick. When you are available, attending frequently is the best way to form a rewarding connection with your group.
We make no guarantees, but we have put great intentionality into the discussion materials, group formation process, and meeting environment. We think that your experience will likely be a good one if you invest in it.
