Governance Committees

Resurrection's committees provide direct leadership over various areas of the church’s operations.

How to Serve on Resurrection's Committees/Online Application Form

Thank you for your interest in serving as an elected lay leader for the Church of the Resurrection.

The process of considering a role of Christian leadership is one of discernment. Church of the Resurrection serves a variety of communities at different locations throughout the city. Leaders of all abilities, who bring diverse perspectives to these positions, can help ensure a culture that encourages collaboration, flexibility, equity, and Christian service.

Committee members typically serve in a preparatory year prior to a three-year term as a voting member. Note that you must be a member of Resurrection for at least two years prior to serving in a preparatory role, or three years before serving as a voting committee member.

Please note the deadline has passed for applying for service on Resurrection's 2022 committees. We hope you will consider applying for service in 2023. Information regarding how to apply will be posted in the fall of 2022 in Resurrection's all-church e-news.
