Church Policies

Resurrection’s policies reflect the Church Council’s statement of expectations for various aspects of church operations.

Church policies are approved by the Church Council and are informed by the expertise of the Church’s governance committees, The Book of Discipline of the United Methodist Church, and the expectations of the Great Plains Annual Conference.

Church policies are intended to guide the Church’s pastors, staff, volunteers, and others in their daily activities in a manner consistent with the Church’s Purpose, Vision, and Journey. The Church Council is committed to ensuring the Church acts ethically and complies with all applicable laws. The Church Council has adopted these policies to effectively communicate its expectations and create a culture of compliance designed to protect the people it serves and faithfully steward the resources entrusted to the Church.

Policies addressing volunteer, congregant, and public activities and use of the Church are linked below.
