As part of Church of the Resurrection's 2030 Vision, we believe God is calling us to break the cycle of poverty for children in Kansas City, giving each child the possibility of attaining a future with hope.
We will do this through initiatives that:
Ensure every four-year-old who will attend our partner schools has access to pre-k education so that they are prepared to succeed in elementary school.
Ensure children in the communities surrounding our partner schools have access to basic health care through mobile medical clinics offering basic health care, vision, dental and hearing screening.
Address childhood hunger in the neighborhoods surrounding our partner schools by establishing new food pantries or supporting existing pantries.
Increase the number of partner schools from the present eight to ten, including one partnership in each campus’ surrounding community.
One way to get involved and help move the needle is to advocate for Early Childhood Education policies that support our goals.

Please note that these agencies may not share our exact priorities and we do not endorse any particular political action. We offer you these agencies as a starting point for your own research and to introduce you to a few of the organizations you can follow and participate in.
