The Resurrection Overland Park Food Pantry helps bridge the gap of food insecurity gap in our community. They continue to serve clients during the COVID-19 outbreak utilizing a mobile pantry method, bringing sacks directly to client's cars.

Items Needed:

  • Eggs
  • Lunch meat
  • Canned Fruit
  • Rice
  • Boxed meals (hamburger helper, mac and cheese, etc)
  • Pancake Mix & Syrup
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned meat (tuna or chicken)
  • Soup
  • Canned Vegetables
  • Pasta and spaghetti sauce
  • Diapers (size 4+ and pull-ups) and wipes
  • Bread
  • Fresh produce including apples, oranges, potatoes (or other items from your garden!)
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Toilet paper
  • Paper towels
  • Paper bags (for distributing food)

Please note we are asking you to participate only IF you are already going to the store, placing an online order or have items to share. We are not encouraging you to go out and make a special grocery store trip!

Items can be dropped-off at Church of the Resurrection Overland Park on Saturday, May 30 from 9am-11am. To donate, drive up to the Food Pantry entrance and a volunteer will take your donations out of your car.

To help protect our volunteers and donation recipients, please donate non-expired, un-opened food products and use proper hand-washing and sanitation techniques before you drop them off.
