Disciple Bible Study is enriching, informational, transformational, faith deepening and offers time to develop deep lasting friendships as you study, reflect and pray together as a group.
Leaders choose the start date for their class, however classes usually begin late August or early September.
Course Descriptions are listed below. Classes begin in the fall and follow the school calendar. Your leader will notify you with the specific start date as classes do not all begin the same week. Books are available to purchase from The Well Bookstore at Resurrection Leawood. Please tell them the name of your leader or the day/time you are meeting so you get the correct book.
Online registration for 2019-20 Disciple classes will begin in July 2019 with classes beginning in August or September of 2019.

As we head into the 20th year of running Alpha at Resurrection, we want to celebrate that milestone by doing something big. There have been over 12,000 people who’ve taken Alpha at Resurrection and now it’s time to share it in the community. Imagine how many more people we can reach outside the walls with your help. This fall Alpha will be offered at Deer Creek Country Club on Monday nights.
Through a 10-week experience, Alpha will help you explore spirituality and Jesus in a fun, non-judgmental and open environment. It’s perfect for skeptics, the curious or just anyone wanting to make some new friends. No question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.
Do you have friends or family members who are reluctant stepping inside a church but are curious about faith? We want to invite them and you to an evening of great food, learning and stimulating conversation about some of life’s biggest questions.

a place that meets you right where you’re at as a mom, a woman and a friend.
Building Better Moms (BBM) strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow and serve together. BBM members meet together in a larger group setting, but are connected with a small group of moms with whom they share a table at each BBM meeting throughout the year. The BBM calendar follows the school calendar year, beginning in September and concluding in May. The schedule is set to align as much as possible with area school and holiday schedules. BBM meetings run about two hours in length and each group meets approximately twice a month to enjoy food and fellowship, speakers and group discussion. All groups also participate in mission projects supported by The Church of the Resurrection and occasional social events outside of the meeting schedule.
Imagine… you’re here!
