Nursery & Childcare

A safe, nurturing Christian environment for children ages 6 weeks to 5th grade to develop spiritually.

KiDSCOR offers childcare for many of the events at Resurrection Leawood to provide children an opportunity to know, love, and serve God as they grow to become deeply committed Christians.

Last updated: March 8, 2021

In Person KiDSCOR nursery is re-opening.

Beginning Sunday, March 14, 2021, the nursery will open at limited capacity. Programming for children two and under will be available at the 9:00 am and 11:00 am worship times. Reservations are required. Please visit our KiDSCOR COVID protocols page to learn more and to make a reservation.

Reserve Weekday Childcare - Weekday Childcare is not available at this time.

If you have any questions or concerns, or would prefer not to reserve childcare online, please call us at (913) 232-4138. If you registered your child when you signed up for your class or event, there is no need to make an additional reservation.

There is a $5 per child fee for each visit unless your class or event specifies otherwise. We ask that you pay for the entire class at one time ($5 per child X the number of class meetings). Cash or checks, made payable to Church of the Resurrection, are accepted. Place your payment in the red mailbox outside the KiDSCOR Nursery & Childcare office (B119).

Important Notes

A few notes about our ministry:

  • You must remain on the Resurrection campus, attending an event here, while your child is in childcare.

  • During the week, we exclusively use the East entrance near the Foundry/Commons. Please use this entrance when dropping-off and picking-up from childcare. (On the weekends, both this entrance and the West entrance near the main Sanctuary are open for use.)

  • Childcare is located on the first floor of Building B in the north hallway. When you arrive, check-in at a computer kiosk with the last four digits of your phone number.

  • We operate a well-child facility and we do not have the capability to care for children who are not feeling well. If your child is ill, please do not bring him/her to childcare.

  • Due to allergy concerns, no outside food or drinks (meals or snacks) may be brought into the classrooms. Bottles and sippy cups are allowed for infants. Water is always provided for all ages.

  • Please label everything before you arrive - bottles, pacifiers, loveys, etc.

We look forward to caring for your child!
