Youthfront Camp 2020

Your kids will love the experience of sleep-over camp accompanied by the familiarity of KiDSCOR. We are offering one session of camp this year for elementary aged kids who are currently in grades 2nd – 4th grade.   If you attend one of the five Church of the Resurrection campuses this is the camp for you!

Current 5th grades can choose to attend the week-long camp with the middle school group (more info below).

Youthfront is a Christian camp that offers air-conditioned cabins, a lake, swimming pool, Splash Park (for a small fee), water-slide, paddle boats, snack shop, ping-pong, pool tables, zip line, Gaga ball, disc golf, basketball court, crafts and all kinds of other games. Campers will have structured activities, worship time, and plenty of free time to enjoy all that camp has to offer. Camp favorites every year are Night Strike and the shaving cream war.

KiDSCOR Session 6A at Youthfront Camp West

When:  July 6 – 8, 2020

Check-in will begin at 9 am on July 6 and camp will end around 10:30 am on July 8.

Who:  Current 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders

The registration system will ask you to register them as the grade they will be in Aug 2020.

Current 5th graders may choose to attend the middles school week with Rezlife.  They have reserved the entire camp for session 2A, June 8-13.  Contact us to get the registration code and more details.

Cost:  $240

We are reserving the entire camp for COR families and their friends which means a group discount has been applied to the cost of camp (reducing the price from $255).  Register before March 1st and receive $15 of camp bucks!  Camp Bucks can be used to purchase snacks and Youthfront merchandise and apparel from the Snack Shop.  They may also be used to purchase a Splash Park pass.

 Registration:

A deposit of $50 is required at the time of registration and the balance is due prior to the start of camp.  Go to Youthfront and make sure you pick session 6a and use this group hold identification to gain access to our session of camp.  GHR ID: CORKIDSYFCAMP.  If you do not attend one of the Church of the Resurrection campuses or have not been invited by someone who does, please choose another session of camp.

CABIN PLACEMENT:

KiDSCOR takes an extra step when doing cabin assignments, we will assign children to specific rooms.  Each cabin has four rooms that hold four children on bunk beds (total of 16 kids per cabin).  When you register you may list up to three friends your child would like to room with.  It is best for all children to communicate and list each other.  If your group happens to have 5 kids, we can put a child on a cot in the room. Let us know and we will try to accommodate your request.

For all campers to have the best experience we will not put more than two rooms of friends together in a cabin unless an adult from the group will serve as a cabin volunteer.  If you need to make changes to your cabin mate requests, you can do in the Youthfront registration system.  We will not start cabin placement until three weeks before camp, so you have plenty of time to get it all figured out.

It's easy and fun, just sign up to be a cabin leader!  You'll receive a free Youthfront Volunteer t-shirt, $10 to spend at the Snack Shop plus all the free soda you can drink!  Plus if you have a child attending you can get a $50 discount on their registration. We will need one adult volunteer for each cabin of children.  Youthfront provides one paid staff person for each cabin who will lead the kids through the activities.  KiDSCOR volunteers will serve alongside but are not expected to lead anything unless you want to.  Most duties include going in the canoes and paddle boats with campers (they require an adult to do those!!) hanging out and trying to get them to sleep at night.  Volunteers must be 18 years of age.  There is some flexibility if you need to leave for an important meeting or take an occasional call.
