Have a great time WITHOUT your grandkids!

Join Building Better Grandparents on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Classes include a speaker and table discussion on topics that are geared towards grandparents.


January 14—Navigating Family Boundaries—Family dynamics can be challenging, especially with daughter or son in-laws.  Join Mark Steiner, LSCSW, as he helps us navigate how to grow in healthy relationships with adult members of your family.

February 11—Stages of Faith Development—Rev. Angie McCarty will present Fowler’s broad categories of faith development, helping you identify your grandchildren’s developmental stage, in order to more effectively share your faith with them.

March 10—EarthCOR—Erin Chancey will share common points of education about caring for creation, something about with your grandchildren are no doubt learning.  Learn how to care for the Earth with your grandkids and in your own home.

April 14—Social Media Safety—Phil Goff, Community Outreach Officer at the Leawood Police Department, will help us think about the pitfalls of social media and how we can keep ourselves and our grandkids safe online.

Register for all 4 classes for $20 or separate classes for $7 each.
