Leawood: Producer/Systems Engineer – Building C (40 Hours, Exempt; Benefits Eligible)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and provide technical production support for the Leawood campus – Building C, primarily supporting production for Student Ministries’ large group gatherings and worship.
• Plan and execute all technical production components including, but not limited to, audio, lighting, graphics, video, and staging.
• Advanced troubleshooting for all video and lighting systems in Building C to ensure minimal disruption from technical failures during live events.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and empower all production volunteers for weekly and weekend events.

Main Qualifications:

• 5 years’ experience in technical production including Video/Audio/Lighting/Graphics/Staging.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain technical systems.

  • Under the direction of the Adult Discipleship Director, provide ongoing leadership, vision and strategic planning for all Crossroad’s volunteer leadership teams.

Leawood: Silver Link Chaplain (20 Hours, Exempt)

Primary responsibilities:

  • In partnership with the Director of Silver Link Ministries & Congregational Care Pastor, provide care, including hospital visits and counseling for individuals in the Silver Link community.
  • Serve as primary care provider for congregants whose only connection to the church is through Silver Link Ministries: make care visits to homes, hospitals and hospice centers. Provide funeral support as needed.
  • Assist in administrative demands of Silver Link Ministry.
  • Intentional ministry with senior adult living communities which will include planning and implementing the monthly special worship service and worship services at local care homes providing a pastoral presence on a routine basis.

 Main qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Assist in daily food service operations; receiving, storing, and preparing food products sold in The Spring Café and for catered events. This may include purchasing, physically picking up, and delivering inventory items from local wholesale clubs and other vendors
  • Prepare and ensure all internal catering orders are acknowledged, prepared, and delivered to the church’s ministries with excellent quality and on a timely basis

Main qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Open & close buildings before and after worship.
  • Place flags and signs outside before worship as well as bringing them in after worship.
  • Assist with cleaning such as spills, trash overflow, and general facility issues as they arise.
