Is the featured class a live broadcast, or is it over Zoom?

Trick question... it's both! The main teaching component will happen as a live broadcast through our online streaming page at After the main teaching, we will break into smaller Zoom groups for discussion. To receive a link to a Zoom group, please make sure you register for the class using the link above!

I’ve never used Zoom before. How does it work?

You aren’t alone. Here's what the process looks like:

  • You’ll sign up for a free Zoom account.
  • You’ll receive a link to your class location.
  • Click that link when your class is scheduled and your screen will fill with class participants.
  • That's it – you're in!

Nothing is that simple. What if I have problems with Zoom?

We will have a practice Zoom session where you can test all your settings to make sure everything goes smoothly on your first night of class.

Learning on Zoom can’t possibly be as good as in person. Is it worth my time?

Of course, nothing substitutes for face-to-face contact. However, Zoom is a user-friendly platform that allows us to see and hear people in real time. One recent participant said this about an online class: “Zoom worked great and I thought it was time well spent.”

The classes sounds so great. Can I sign up for more than one?

We’ve intentionally scheduled the classes on multiple evenings so that you don’t have to choose just one class. We do ask that you fill out a separate registration form for each class.

Will there be homework?

Each class is different. However, all class leaders are sensitive to your time constraints. If you don’t have time to do work at home, they all understand.

When will we meet again in person?

The church is working on a plan to bring us all back together again. We always want to err on the side of responsibility, so as of right now, we’re opening the campus to essential staff only. Stay tuned for any an all updates.
