Covid-19, racial injustice, political infighting, a bitter election cycle, an economic crisis, and rampant disagreements… when we look around at our world today, it may seem like it’s all falling to pieces. Christians everywhere are facing new circumstances on a daily basis, and yet there is one age-old question that has been with us from the very beginning: how are Christians supposed to demonstrate a radical community of love when disagreements reign and chaos abounds? >span class="TextRun SCXW112746502 BCX9" xml:lang="EN-US" lang="EN-US">in the midst of the chaotic world around us.

Disciple Bible Study is enriching, informational, transformational, faith deepening and offers time to develop deep lasting friendships as you study, reflect and pray together as a group.
Our classes will start the week of Sept. 7th and utilize Zoom for online meetings
Books are available to purchase from The Well Bookstore online or at Cokesbury online. All Disciple 1, 2, & 3 classes will be using the new Fast Track materials. Disciple 4 will use the traditional book but use an abbreviated 24 week schedule.
Registration for the 2020/2021 sessions is now open.
Disciple 1 provides a foundational overview of the Bible. Beginning with Genesis and continuing through Revelation, group members will read approximately 80% of the Bible in this Fast Track 24 week study. Disciple 1 is great for those at any place in their faith journey.
Fast Track Disciple 2 is a shortened version of the original Disciple 2 study. Classes meet for a total of 24 weeks as they study Genesis–Exodus and Luke–Acts for 12 sessions each. Daily preparation is to read 3–5 chapters of the Bible each day. (Disciple 1 suggested pre-requisite)
Fast Track Disciple 3 examines the major and minor Old Testament prophets and the 13 Letters traditionally attributed to Paul. Several themes weave their way through the study-the call to remember; the call to repentance; the need for renewed vision and the place of community. (24 week study, Disciple 1 suggested pre-requisite)
Disciple 4 concentrates on the Old Testament writings not in the Torah or the Prophets, such as Psalms and Proverbs, and the Gospel. (24 week schedule using the traditional study book, Disciple 1 suggested pre-requisite)
Jesus in the Gospels digs deeply into the mission and message of Jesus through a detailed and comparative study of the Gospels. Study the name, the place and the people-a commanding, morally compelling figure as portrayed in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. (30 week study, Disciple 1 suggested pre-requisite)
Christian Believer is a study of the classical doctrines of the Christian faith which includes God's providence, atonement, judgment and eternal life. This class blends together the reading of Scripture with reading classic Christian writings. (30 week study, Disciple 1 suggested pre-requisite)

You aren’t alone. Here's what the process looks like:
We will have a practice Zoom session where you can test all your settings to make sure everything goes smoothly on your first night of class.
Of course, nothing substitutes for face-to-face contact. However, Zoom is a user-friendly platform that allows us to see and hear people in real time. One recent participant said this about an online class: “Zoom worked great and I thought it was time well spent.”
We’ve intentionally scheduled the classes on multiple evenings so that you don’t have to choose just one class. We do ask that you fill out a separate registration form for each class.
Each class is different. However, all class leaders are sensitive to your time constraints. If you don’t have time to do work at home, they all understand.
The church is working on a plan to bring us all back together again. We always want to err on the side of responsibility, so as of right now, we’re opening the campus to essential staff only. Stay tuned for any an all updates.
