Six months ago a pandemic changed our world. Since then we’ve come to know grief, fear, frustration, weariness...

Could you use a bit of JOY right about now?

This weekend, we begin a new series of messages on "Joy in the Midst of Adversity." We'll look at the keys to finding that joy – even when things are really hard.

Help Care for Our Church Family

Congregational Care Ministers serve alongside our Care Pastors to make hospital visits, follow up on prayer requests, provide one-on-one support for those going through a difficult times and more. In this time of isolation, CCMs are needed more than ever. Fall training starts Wednesday, Oct. 7. Download CCM application.

Hurricane Recovery

Resurrection’s Disaster Response Team is working with local leaders in Louisiana to see how best we can support them and their efforts to respond. In the meantime, here are some ways to help.

Drive-Up Pet Blessing

Bring family and friends (human, furry, scaly, feathery or otherwise) to our Blessing of the Animals Saturday, Sept. 12, 10-11:30 am in the circle drive of Building A. Register for a specific time here. You will receive confirmation and details via email.

Counseling for Frontline Medical Workers and Educators

We know the impact COVID-19 is having on our frontline medical professionals, first responders and educators. We are offering eight free tele-health counseling sessions for workers in these professions. Please fill out a referral form found here.

YMCA Offering Programs at Resurrection Campuses

We are excited to partner with the YMCA of Greater Kansas City to offer space for their daytime programming at four of our campuses: Downtown, Leawood, Overland Park and West. This is a YMCA-run program for children of essential workers ages 5-12. Find details here.

  • Prayer Requests – Please submit your prayer requests online. We have a team dedicated to praying for these requests.
  • Recovery Ministry – Are you or someone you love having an especially hard time during this time of isolation? If you have been affected by substance, drug or alcohol abuse or addictions of any kind, Resurrection Recovery Support Groups welcome you to meet Thursday evenings at 7, in person at Resurrection Leawood, Building B, or online via Zoom.

Back to School Blessing

Whether "class" happens at a classroom desk or a dining room table, it is back to school time! We'd love to greet and bless students and their families at a the Back to School Drive-Thru Blessing, Sunday, Sept. 13, from 1-3 pm, with photo ops and the chance to meet KiDSCOR and rezlife staff.

Rezlife Student Ministry

rezlife Block Parties – We miss seeing our students in person! This fall, rezlife is hosting grade-level, social events where students can gather for fellowship and fun! Block parties for 6th and 9th grade students on Thursday, Sept. 10. More info and register here.

rezlife Back to School Blessing Drive-Thru Event – Sunday, Sept. 13, 1-3 pm. Drive up for some awesome giveaways! We'll pray for your family for the new school year. Just load up your students and head to the circle drive, south of Bldg. A.

2020-21 Confirmation is open for students in 8th-12th grades who have not yet been confirmed. This is a time for students to claim faith for themselves and confirm the vows of their baptism. Register here by Monday, Sept. 14.
