Author, speaker and pastor Brian Zahnd will be speaking at Resurrection Leawood, Tuesday, May 15, 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. He is the founder and lead pastor of Word of Life Church, a thriving church in St. Joseph, MO, and has authored numerous books, including Sinners in the Hands of a Loving God.

All children deserve a stable loving home, but the number of children being taken from their families due to abuse or neglect continues to rise in Kansas and Missouri. Serve with our Furnishings Ministry as we re-purpose furniture from the Blue Valley School District for distribution by educational programs and agencies in the Kansas City area. Volunteer hospital advocates for the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault (MOCSA) provide crisis intervention, resources and referrals to victims of sexual assault.
