What are you doing for Lent?

Have you given up something for Lent? Some of us choose to give up a certain food or an activity such as shopping or watching TV. Maybe you've chosen to give away by donating clothing or other possessions.

Giving time, such as in prayer or volunteering, is another way to observe Lent, as is starting something that helps you stretch yourself spiritually, mentally and/or physically. If you're looking to stretch spiritually, check out our Lenten Journey study.

However you "give" (up, away or time) this Lent, it's all about renewing your focus on God as we prepare for Easter!

Coming Up at Resurrection

This weekend in worship, we continue our Lenten Journey exploring five spiritual practices for Christian living. Last week we looked at worship and gratitude; this week we'll talk about growing in our faith. We hope to see you this weekend!

Join our Lenten Journey Study anytime and pick your day: Tuesday Grow Night, Wednesday Family Night or Thursday Care Night. Register for your choice of class night here. This is great for small groups! Download the Lent Journal here.
