Football sermon series continues this weekend

Do you know why we are focusing on football in our January sermon series? Certainly if you're a Kansas City Chiefs fan, you're caught up in the excitement of the playoffs. So are we just jumping on the hype? Of course we are! Because talking about football in church might be just the thing to bring someone to church – where they can hear about Jesus.

As Pastor Adam noted in his message last weekend: To win at sports, you can’t phone it in. It requires effort, self-discipline and sacrifice. The same thing is true in every part of our lives – relationships, jobs, school, our health... and especially our faith. So jump on the football bandwagon and make the effort to invite someone to worship with us this weekend!

Coming Up at Resurrection

This weekend in worship... Pastor Adam continues our series on Lessons from Football for the Game of Life. We'll focus on teamwork and the power of the crowd.

If you missed last weekend's message, you can listen here.
