It's Back-to-School Time!

Many of the kids in the Kansas City community are going back to school next week! (Cue: cheering parents/guardians...) We are celebrating and praying for students, teachers and schools/district staff this weekend at each of our worship services. Children from KiDSCOR will join us in the Sanctuary for a blessing. Invite someone to worship with us and share in this Resurrection back-to-school tradition. (Plus there's Kona Ice after worship – more cheers!)

Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible for kids at our Partner Schools to start their school year with new school supplies and uniforms! This is one of the ways we live out our 2030 Vision to help close the opportunity gap and break the cycle of poverty through educational opportunities. Learn about more ways to help with our Partner Schools and close that gap!

Read on for more ways to get connected at Resurrection.

Coming up at Resurrection

This weekend in worship, Pastor Adam explores what it means to follow Jesus, welcome everyone and serve others.

We'll celebrate back-to-school this weekend with a gift for elementary through high schoolers, plus share volunteer opportunities with KiDSCOR Children's Ministry and rezlife Student Ministry!

Wednesdays are made for connection and study.

We love welcoming all to worship each weekend and want to invite you back on Wednesday evenings for classes and activities – something for all ages!

It starts with a family-friendly meal at 5:30 pm ($5/person, free for up to 5th grade) and then we move to:

  • Classes and groups for adults
  • ZONE and Z45 for kids
  • rezlife Youth Groups for students
