Last Night's Vespers

Did you miss Pastor Adam's Vespers on Facebook? We had some technical issues with Facebook, but you can view it here.

Pastor Adam shared the incredible impact of your donations last weekend as we raised money to drill clean water wells for children in Africa. (How many wells do you think can be drilled thanks to your generosity?!)

This Weekend in Worship...

We'll explore "Becoming Resilient in the Face of Adversity" in this weekend's message. "Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial..."

Be resilient in inviting a someone to worship online with us this weekend:

  • Saturday | 5 pm
  • Sunday | 7:30 am, 9:15 am, 11 am, 5 pm 11 am on Facebook Live and KHSB TV

Serve Opportunities

Build A Box to Stop Hunger!

Our Hunger Stoppers team has seen the demand for food in our community increase by 200% since mid-March. And as unemployment continues to rise, the requests for food will also. Bulk purchases in grocery stores are challenging due to rationing, but you can help fill the gap between the need for food and our supplies through Build A Box.

Click here for dates and simple instructions on how to pick up a box, shop for the right food, and decorate and drop off the boxes. Our goal is to have 2,500 boxes to distribute to our community!

Partner School Support Drive

Did you know we can help 3,800+ students in nine Partner Schools be ready to learn? Whether "school" happens in a classroom or a living room, students need supplies to help them succeed. Donate here for supplies we will purchase in bulk.

If you enjoy shopping for school supplies, pick up any of the ten most needed items and drop them off at one of these three locations:

  • Leawood Building A Circle Drive – Friday, July 31, 9-11 am
  • Downtown – Monday – Friday, 9 am – 4 pm (call 816-979-1344 to arrange for drop-off time)
  • Overland Park – Saturday, Aug. 1, 9-11 am

Build Hope (and a House)!

We are teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City to build a House of Abraham! Established in 2003 by Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities in Kansas City, House of Abraham is an opportunity for people of different faith traditions to come together to build a home and help a family get a fresh start.

Daily pportunities for ages 16 and up to serve through early fall. Learn more and sign up here.
