Resurrection Turns 30!

Thirty years ago this October, Church of the Resurrection gathered for worship for the very first time. Little did our small congregation know that there would come a time when we would not be able to worship in the same room together. But for more than six months now, we have continued to not only worship God each week, but also care for our church family and serve our neighbors locally and globally.

Pastor Adam announced in his enote that we will begin in-person worship with limited numbers at all of our locations on Sunday, Oct. 4, which is 30 years after that first gathering in 1990. Safety protocols will be in place and reservations are required to attend. The link to register will be in Pastor Adam's enote this Friday.

Whether you gather with us in a sanctuary or online, we continue to be blessed in being able to worship together from locations all over the world!

And, if you are...

...Considering Joining Church of the Resurrection?

The first step is to learn more about us at Coffee with the Pastors on Sunday, Sept. 20, online at 2 pm. Hear from Pastor Adam about our beliefs, mission, vision and more. Sign up here.

Let's Connect

Celebrate 30 Years of Loving Our Neighbors!

We are excited for our church's 30th Anniversary this October with the theme "Love Your Neighbor!" We'll start with a celebration on Saturday, Oct. 3 at each of our physical locations and on our social media channels. To live out the theme, you can donate for a food drive and engage in other serve opportunities and acts of kindness all month long (and beyond)!

If you ordered a 30th Anniversary Love Your Neighbor t-shirt, it will be available for pick up at the celebration. At that celebration, you can also pick up one or two yard signs – click here to let us know you would like a yard sign, but please note that it does not reserve one for you – they will be available on Oct. 3 from 1-3 pm (Leawood) only while supplies last.

Get the scoop on all things 30th as they develop here, including graphics to share on your social media.
