Let's fill the Bookmobile! United Methodist Women is sponsoring an online book fair during April 9–22, with Scholastic Books serving a great selection of book series and titles. The Resurrection Bookmobile visits each of our elementary partner schools and other urban schools, giving students books to keep! Donate now to our Book Fair fund, or shop for specific books through Scholastic's website.

Ministry for Children & Students

Did you know that we have ministries just for children and students at each of our locations?

KiDSCOR is a fun, engaging way for your child to know, love and serve God. We provide kits for families to grow together at home and post regular videos on YouTube to help them understand God and the Bible. Learn more about KiDSCOR here.

Rezlife Student Ministries is a welcoming community where middle school and high school students can worship, serve, and grow in faith together. We have weekly gatherings on YouTube and some small groups that meet throughout the week. Select a location to learn more.

Be the Bridge Class meets Sundays, April 11 - May 30, 3-4:30 pm via Zoom. Engage in healthy dialogue about race as we journey toward becoming a bridge-builder for racial reconciliation. Sign up here.

Help us create opportunities for connection and spiritual growth by serving as a Community Life Minister. CLMs guide our congregation to live out the five essential practices of the Christian life, and connect them to community through ministry programs, small groups and more. Connect with Care & Support

  • New Facebook Group for Healthcare Workers provides hope, support and encouragement to healthcare workers in our community during this challenging time. Request to join this group here.
  • Resurrection Recovery meets Thursdays at 7 pm, in person and online. Those struggling with addiction(s) of any kind are invited to discover hope, redemption and renewal – no matter where you are on the recovery journey. More info here.

KiDSCOR (pre-school – 5th grade)

  • 9:30 am: Zoom calls for PreK – 5th grade
  • 11 am: full in-person programming for 5th grade and below (limited capacity).

Resurrection Blue Springs Activities

KiDSCOR is needing help each week in the nursery during the 11 am service. If you are able to help out at least once or twice per month, please email diane.enlow@cor.org and she can get you set up!

KiDSCOR Children's Ministry

  • In-Person KiDSCOR is back Sunday, April 11 at our 9 am and 11 am services - we’ll have limited space for KiDSCOR programming, ages infant – fifth grade. Registration will be required. The link will go live each Sunday at noon for the following week.
  • Join our KiDSCOR YouTube Channel to find the latest video content to help you and your family stay connected and grow in your faith. New weekend worship videos are uploaded every Saturday evening.

rezlife Student Ministry

  • Sunday night programming will begin April 11 from 5:30– 7:00 pm for Middle School and High School Students. Registration required.
  • SAVE THE DATE! Rezlife students from across all campuses are coming together for a day of service on Saturday, April 17. Blue Springs students are encouraged (but not limited) to sign up for the Hillcrest Transitional event. More details and registration here.

  • Sunday Gatherings| Sundays, 9:30am | Starting Feb 14, we will be meeting 9:30 - 10:30 am. We will continue our series on "Rhythms", where we look at daily spiritual practices that can grow our faith. Email Leah.miller@cor.org for more information.
  • High School rezlife | Sundays, 7pm | Starting Feb 21, we will start a small group/Bible study JUST FOR HIGHSCHOOLERS! This is a chance to reset before the week and connect with other area high school students. We will meet 7 - 8 pm on Sunday evenings via Zoom to share ideas, ask questions, and know you have a safe space to belong. Register here!

Join a Class, Study or Group

  • Lent Study - The Gospel of Mark: Join us for a Lenten Study on the Gospel of Mark! Join Pastor Joshua and our Pastoral Resident Karissa Miller for a 5-week study of the Gospel of Mark. Lent journals will be available for pick up at the Ash Wednesday Experience or in the church office. To prepare for class each week, participants should do at least two of the following: watch the week's sermon, watch the video of the week's lesson, and/or read the daily Scripture readings listed in the journal. We will meet online on Thursdays, 7- 8:15 pm, beginning February 25. Register here.
