What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is the time in a student’s life when they claim faith for themselves. Through Confirmation, students have the opportunity to explore their faith by asking questions, thinking critically, serving others, and learning more about God and the Church. They will journey alongside adult mentors and participate in a small group of their peers. At the end of Confirmation, they will be invited to make a public commitment to Christ and become a full member of our church community. You do not have to be a member at Church of the Resurrection to register. Confirmation at Resurrection is open to students in 8th-12th grade.

Registration for the 2022-2023 Confirmation Season is now open! Sign up for Confirmation by September 13. Our Parent and Student Kickoff will be Sunday, September 18, 2022.

We are also looking for adults to serve as Confirmation Mentors and High School Students to serve as Confirmation Junior Mentors. Sign up now to be a Confirmation Mentor!
