The Emerging Leaders Cohort is a 9-month program for young adults ages 22 to 35 who desire to strengthen their relationship with God and grow in their leadership within the church. It’s for young adults who want to grow in their leadership in the church. In this info meeting, we’ll cover the goals, schedule, and format for this cohort and answer any questions you might have.

Join other Resurrection Downtowners for Celebration at the Station, a free concert put on by the Kansas City Symphony. We’ll meet at the 1601 Grand parking lot (enter through the south gate off 17th street at 5:30 pm and then walk over to Union Station and the lawn of the National WWI Museum and Memorial together. The walk is roughly 1 mile. The Symphony takes the stage at 8 pm and the evening concludes with a large firework display.

Join Pastor Anne for a discussion on the book Stations of the Heart, Parting with a Son by Richard Lischer. It is a compelling and heart-wrenching memoir about a father walking with his son through cancer, with rich theological reflection throughout. Enjoy the book then come ready for a guided conversation with others on Thursday, May 30 at 6:30 pm, at Resurrection Downtown (1601 Grand).

Join Resurrection Downtown on Sunday, June 2nd at 5:30 pm for fun, food, and games at Macken Park in North Kansas City!
Arrive at 5:30 pm and we’ll plan to eat at 5:45 pm. Bring a side dish to share, blankets, chairs, lawn games, friends, and family for an evening of community connection.

It's already that time of year to mark your calendars for Vacation Bible Camp. This year’s theme is “The Jesus Tour.” Kids currently in kindergarten through 5th grade (school year 2023/2024) will learn about Jesus’ message of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you,” exploring kindness, respect, compassion, and humility through fun activities, crafts, games, and music.
During construction our parking lot is only be accessible through the south gate off of 17th Street and access to our worship space will only be through the west doors off of Grand Blvd. You can also park in our 1522 McGee lot or along McGee Street. Look for signage to guide you through this different entrance as we grow!
