Drive-Up Food & Supply Drive for Cross-Lines: March 27

As a community partner, Cross-Lines works to provide a safety net for vulnerable people in Kansas City, KS.  Their clients include individuals, families, and seniors who are living in poverty.

Cross-Lines has temporarily stopped hot meals at their community kitchen, and is distributing grab-and-go lunches and supplies instead.

At this time they need:

Fruit cups, applesauce, chicken salad/tuna salad to-go meal kits, sliced bread, deli meat, applesauce, granola bars, breakfast bars, cereal, oatmeal, peanut butter, jelly, pasta, rice, chunky soup, pancake mix, canned fruit, bottled water, and juice boxes. (No glass containers or expired food, please!)

Small bottles of laundry soap, disposable gloves, disinfectant spray, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, bleach, paper towels, sandwich bags, and brown paper sacks.

Please note we are asking you to participate only IF you are already going to the store, placing an online order or have items to share. We are not encouraging you to go out and make a special grocery store trip!

Items can be dropped-off at Church of the Resurrection Leawood on Friday, March 27 from 9am-11am.  To donate, drive up to the truck in the circle drive at Building A and a volunteer will take your donations out of your car.

To help protect our volunteers and Cross-Lines' guests, please donate non-expired, un-opened food products and use proper hand-washing and sanitation techniques before you drop them off.
