Leawood: Video Producer/Editor (40 hours, Exempt, Benefits Eligible)

Primary responsibilities:

  • As a member of the video team within the Communications Department, produce (film and edit) video projects that support sermon series, worship, conferences, individual ministries, and special projects.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create cohesive sermon packages, including sermon graphics, videos and supplemental material.
  • Edit weekend sermons for upload and distribution.
  • Produce stories and promotional videos from concept to completion for worship, website, and social media.

Main qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in video production with strong background in script writing, storyboarding, and recruiting talent.
  • Deep familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere, Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Highly skilled in non-linear editing for various pieces, from testimonial/story videos to edits for sermon videos.
  • Ability to shift work hours to accommodate evening or weekend projects.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Adult Discipleship Director, provide ongoing leadership, vision and strategic planning for all Crossroad’s volunteer leadership teams.
  • Regularly teach Bible studies, workshops, classes, etc. to members of the Crossroads ministry.

Leawood: Confirmation Program Director (20 Hours; Exempt)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the Confirmation Program in Student Ministries, including planning, implementation, management, and evaluation.
  • Partner with supervisor and ministry staff to prepare theologically relevant curriculum for use in small groups and large group teaching time.
  • Recommend and manage budget for the Confirmation program.
  • Recruit, train, and equip adult volunteers to effective mentor students and assist in various areas for Confirmation.
  • Serve as a ministry liaison to pastors and director in planning and execution of the Confirmation ceremony and retreat.
  • Coordinate program logistics including communication, registration, speakers, worship, and small groups.

Leawood Kitchen Associate (15 Hours; Nonexempt)

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Assist in daily food service operations; receiving, storing, and preparing food products sold in The Spring Café and for catered events. This may include purchasing, physically picking up, and delivering inventory items from local wholesale clubs and other vendors
  • Prepare and ensure all internal catering orders are acknowledged, prepared, and delivered to the church’s ministries with excellent quality and on a timely basis
  • Set up workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
  • Cook food in various kitchen equipment
  • Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
  • Deliver catering orders, set up buffets, serve, tear down and clean up

 Primary Responsibilities:

  • Directly coordinate the detailed planning, preparation, and execution of weekend worship at Resurrection West.
  • Coordinate all logistics regarding creation and playback of all video & graphic elements, sermon DVD & delivery, theatrical lighting design, stage & set design, as well as any other visual and aesthetic elements used in weekend worship and student worship.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and empower all technical production volunteers for weekly & weekend events.

Main qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience video and graphic design.
  • Ability to assist with moderate to high levels of physical activities such as moving large equipment more than 200 lbs.
  • Ability to work comfortably on catwalks or lifts at heights of 30-45 ft.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Work with the Campus Pastor and team in the design, preparation and execution for all services.

Primary Responsibilities:

  •  Work with Director of Operations to determine needs for events, set-up and monitor the events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Primary presence at the building entrance for weekday office hours (approximately 5 hours/day).
  • Answer all telephone calls with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Assist callers and visitors with information provided by various ministries of the church.
  • Greet all visitors with a positive and friendly demeanor.
  • Maintain and manage weekly church attendance records and data entry information.

  • Open & close buildings before and after worship.
  • Place flags and signs outside before worship as well as bringing them in after worship.
