Wednesdays, June 9–30, 6:30 pm on cor.org/live
Last summer, we explored what it meant to live into the “Beloved Community” that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. envisioned – a society based on justice, equal opportunity, and love of one’s fellow human beings. This June we continue those conversations, diving deeper into issues of race, scripture and what it means to gain empathy and embrace our Christian responsibilities within the Beloved Community.

Building Better Moms (BBM) strives to build a community of moms who learn, grow and serve together. BBM members meet together in a larger group setting, but are connected with a small group of moms with whom they share connection at each BBM meeting throughout the year. The BBM calendar follows the school calendar year, beginning in September and concluding in May. BBM meets twice a month to enjoy fellowship, speakers and small breakout discussion. All groups also participate in service projects.
All meetings will be held on Zoom in a large group format with breakout group connection.
Co-Leaders are Michelle Funk, mom of 3 boys ages college/beyond and Ashley Ozment, mom of 3 children ages 8, 6 and 2 years old.
The cost is $45 for BBM curriculum, guest speaker presentations, private Facebook group, logo shirt, and member gift.
