Wednesdays, 6:30 pm, beginning Feb. 24
Join Resurrection’s pastors online on Wednesday nights to journey through the Gospel of Mark. Each week one of our pastors will offer a 30-minute teaching, followed by about 30 minutes of live, interactive conversation via Zoom. You might consider using your Lenten journal (download a printable version) as a companion to this class.
Walking through the gospel of Mark during the season of Lent, we are experiencing the story of Jesus through reading, watching, discussing, and listening to God’s word proclaimed. We've created a journal to help you in the process of spiritual growth by providing scripture readings and space to note your reflections.
Pick up a copy from Resurrection Leawood (Bldg. A Narthex) on Saturday, February 20, 9 am – noon, or call your Resurrection location to see how you can get one from there. You can also download a printable PDF version of it below.
Registration for our Lent Small Groups is now complete.
If you would like to experience our Lenten Study as part of a small group we suggest the following options:
Every morning we send an email with daily Scripture readings, reflection questions, and a personal insights reflection. You are invited to connect ONLINE for a message of Hope, shared by Ginger Rothhaas, spiritual coach, writer and founder of Compassion Fix workshops for overcoming self doubt and growing in faith. Ginger has a masters in theology and divinity from Saint Paul School of Theology. Most importantly, she is mom to Chase who is 15 and Lauren who is 13; she says having teenagers has taught her what praying continuously really means!
Our online platform will allow us to share in her message, interacting through quotes, scripture passages and guided discussion. No cost to attend, optional costs below.
