The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE)

A snapshot of what poverty looks like through the eyes and experiences of low income families will be presented on Saturday, November 9, in the sanctuary. The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) gives people a chance to see for themselves the difficulties that low income Americans face daily. From 1 to 3:30 p.m. participants will be exposed to real people, real situations and real barriers that exist. This is meaningful for anyone 18 years or older, and especially for those whose lives are touched directly by those living in poverty---educators, social organizations, law enforcement, medical workers, etc.
