Build-A-Box Food Drive - Blue Springs

Since mid-March our Hunger Stoppers team has seen a 200% increase in demand for food. Unfortunately, we are finding bulk purchases difficult to do with the current rationing of grocery stores. As unemployment continues to skyrocket, the request for food will continue to rise and create a gap between the need for food and our supply.

You can help us fill this gap by filling a box and helping us reach our goal of 2500 boxes.


Step one: Build it

Boxes will be available on Saturday, August 8 or 15 from 9-10am in the parking lot at the East Entrance OR Thursday, August 13 from 1-3pm in the church office.

Step two: Fill it

When filled, your box will contain 30 non-perishable highly requested food items. The estimated cost to fill a box is between $35-$55. Click here to download a printable PDF to take with you when you're shopping. Please close the box and tape it shut, then affix the packing list sticker on it.

Step three: Pray & Decorate

Spend time praying over the box and/or writing a note of encouragement on it. Use this opportunity to get creative and spread some joy. (Please do not attach paper, but write directly on the box.)

Step four: Drop it off

Please drop your filled box off on Friday, August 14 or 21 from 9-11am OR Thursday, August 20 from 5-7pm in the circle drive of Building A.

Please drop off your filled box on Saturday, August 15 or 22 from 9-10am in the parking lot at the East Entrance OR Thursday, August 13 or 20 from 1-3pm in the church office.
