Greetings Resurrection Blue Springs,

God is doing great things at our church. There’s a buzz of excitement as new attenders and longtime members return to live worship in this post-Covid world. As a result, we could use more volunteers to help provide a warm Resurrection welcome. Would you be available to volunteer? Could you commit to one service per month? Whether you’re a front and center “people person” or one who prefers to work behind the scenes, there is an important role waiting for you. Contact Cindy.Berryman@cor.org, if you would like to learn more. She would love to talk to you about all the possibilities.

This week in worship we will continue our 5 Keys to Relationships that Last sermon series. I am looking forward to offering the message at our location as Pastor Adam will be traveling in Poland. Our focus will be on resolving conflict and showing grace. Often the people we are the closest to are the ones that we experience the most conflict with. We’ll take a look at what it takes to stay together and how we might defuse conflict in our relationships.

After the ups and downs of the last couple years, we are all in need of some refreshment and reconnection with our partners. As part of this series, we hope you’ll sign up for our three week “Couples’ Tune Up” class beginning this Wednesday, May 11, from 6:30 – 8 pm. Go to cor.org/next for more information and to register.

This Sunday we will also be recognizing our graduates in worship. We will have a reception after each service in the coffee area and a gift for each student to recognize this milestone and celebrate their accomplishments. If you are graduating, we hope you'll come and be recognized - we’d love to celebrate with you.

Have an awesome week!

Pastor Penny
