The Corona virus pandemic continues and will hinder our ability to serve as we love to do on Serve Saturday, April 18. There are A LOT of ways you can serve though, a few of which are on April 18.

There are continual updates via:

  1. My Facebook page and the Church's, so go and follow us if you don't already!
  2. Emailing me, or call me 816-979-1344 and I'll be happy to hear your specific desires and gifts to serve. I'll then help find someplace for you to serve as they are available.
  3. The COVID-19 Response page found on the Local Impact section of the church's Serve webpage. There are several hands on and family friendly ways to serve there. Keep checking back there as we'll update it with ways to serve as they come to us.

Here's a few places you can consider giving or serving RIGHT NOW.

  • KC Farm School
Volunteers are welcome to come on farm. Something special happens when you are alone in a field with God and your thoughts. I highly recommend doing a devotion and then heading over to help out. Contact Alicia Ellingsworth to find the best time to volunteer in accordance with all the proper safety protocols.
You can also coordinate local, safe, and fresh produce to be delivered to your family and neighborhood that supports local farmers who are affected by the economic consequences of this crisis. The Kansas City Food Hub can help you through their Neighborhood Farm Shares program that are distributed weekly, to learn more check out their website.
  • RezDT Pop Up Supply Drive April 18 from 9-11am
Don't make a special trip to the store. Please pick up items from this list while you are already shopping or have them delivered to your home through your grocery delivery service.
Please DO make the trip to our 1522 McGee parking lot that morning to deliver your donations. Everyone will be expected to stay in their vehicle and you can plan on seeing a few RezDT staff's faces helping guide traffic and unloading donations out of your vehicles (retrieving donations from trunks and truck beds is preferred). Thank you and we look forward to seeing you!

Thank you and as always, be safe. Practice as best you can the public health recommendations to mitigate the spread of the corona virus.

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Patrick
