Resurrection Blue Springs,

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July celebration! We have been enjoying having our family all together. I am still amazed every year at the number of fireworks in this community. I do love the nighttime displays, even in the rain!

This Sunday we begin a new summer series on the Resurrection Life. It's about how we, as Christians, are called to embody the word of God. What does it look like to be the Good News? How do we embody hope, generosity and love in our daily lives? Pastor Scott Chrostek, Executive Director of Regional Campuses and our Downtown Campus Pastor, will be kicking off this series, then I will have the opportunity to preach live the rest of the series for our campus. This series is meant to inspire us all to become the good news in our community and places of daily life.

This Sunday I'll be sharing results of our survey from last week about how you'd like to see us taking our next steps for growth as a campus.

Grace and Peace,

Penny Ellwood
