Groundbreaking Sunday!

Resurrection West,

I can’t wait for Sunday as we break ground to begin construction on our Phase I & II priorities! After each service we will conclude out on the location of what will be our new entrance/exit drive turning over dirt as we pray that God would use these expansions to build Christian community where non-religious and nominally religious people become deeply committed Christians.

It will be my privilege to preach live continuing in our Gospel in Toy Story series as we prepare to welcome hundreds of kids to Vacation Bible Camp on Monday! The title of Sunday’s message is "The Name Written On You" exploring the power of Andy’s name written on his toys and how that connects with these important words in Scripture…

I will write on them the name of my God… I will also write on them my own new name.     Revelation 3:12b

It will be a ‘worship together’ Sunday, welcoming all kids and teens from Kindergarten up to worship with their families on this historic day. This will be just the third time in the history of our campus we have ‘broken ground’ to expand. Nursery for Pre-K and under will be available at all services.

I’m already imagining how powerful it will be to experience the joy of digging into the ground with hopes and dreams of how God will use these expansions to change lives, strengthen the church, and transform the world!

Looking forward to Sunday. Invite a friend or neighbor to come grow with us!

Honduras Men’s Serve Trip | Jan 31-Feb. 7, 2020

Coming up January 31 - February 7, 2020 serve God on mission in Honduras alongside Pastor Jason. The purpose of the mission trip is to partner with men from different Methodist Churches all around Honduras. This is a team that will not only benefit our Honduran partners by building capacity to continue constructing the Mission House (containing the Methodist Church offices, Sanctuary for the Methodist Tegucigalpa downtown church, meeting space, etc) but will encourage serving and connecting with our Honduran friends. You do NOT need any construction skills to serve on this trip, professional Honduran construction workers will guide and direct Resurrection and Honduran men on the project. More details and application to serve on the trip can be found by clicking here.
