Exciting Times of Worship!

Greetings Resurrection Blue Springs,

We had a great turnout for worship last weekend with our new worship times and the start of our new sermon series, Lessons from Football for the Game of Life. We had higher attendance at the 9:30 am service than we did at 11 am, which is exactly what we were hoping for. Thank you to everyone who adjusted their routines to help us accommodate our first-time guests!

The new times will continue going forward, and if we have more Sundays like last week, we may be starting a 3rd service sooner than we thought. It’s pretty exciting!

This weekend we're continuing our look at the game of football and how we might find lessons for faith in it to help us in the game of life. This week's emphasis will focus upon the power of the crowd and the importance of teamwork. If you’ve ever wondered how the noise in Arrowhead Stadium affects the team, this weekend you’ll find out. We will also have another fun giveaway both for our children in KiDSCOR as well as everyone in worship! I hope you'll invite friends, wear your red, and join us this Sunday.

Some of you have been asking about the results of our Candlelight Christmas Eve Offering. I found out yesterday that Pastor Adam will be sharing our totals across all campuses in worship this weekend. Come find out the impact your generosity will have on children in poverty here in KC and around the world.

I look forward to seeing you in worship. And in case you're wondering, we'll have worship rain, sleet, snow or shine. Go Chiefs!
