Resurrection West,

It’s so good to be back with you this Sunday after time away with my family. We spent last week in Estes Park, CO exploring Rocky Mountain National Park hiking, biking, swimming, and camping. We so appreciate the time away together and this picture of our youngest daughter Kaia, with our dog Willow, tells the story on our return trip home….

This Sunday we begin a new series called Resurrection Life with Pastor Scott Chrostek kicking off week one across every campus. Over this series we will be asking, "What is it that gives us hope?" I will preach live weeks two, three, and five, with week four being a testimony of a resurrected life from some of our students as we celebrate what God is doing in and through our student ministries. This series is meant to inspire us all to become the good news in our community and places of daily life. I’m excited for how God will speak and inspire over the next five weeks, so plan to be in worship each Sunday at 8 am, 9:30 am, 11 am, or 5 pm.

Last week our building committee met and approved the final budget for construction to start this week! You will begin to see heavy equipment and more as the excavation for our parking and new drive, along with the expansion of the Sanctuary work begins Monday, scheduled to be completed in time for the WOW (Women of West) Conference on August 16. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us as we continue in God’s vision of changing lives, strengthening churches, and transforming the world!

In Christ’s love and service,

Jason Gant
