Our Young Adult Ministry provides a sacred space of vibrant community for young adults – whether you’re in college, working as a young professional, a young parent, single or married. We are passionate about two things: that you will learn to live out your identity, and that you will have fun along the way. As you spend time with other young adults and older mentors, our hope is that you will deepen your understanding of who you are, how you can relate well to your neighbor, and how your life work can further the Kingdom of God for the entirety of your life.

Life is full of questions. And faith is no exception. From the earliest days of the Church, Christians developed short, simple summaries of the faith known as Creeds. All college-age adults are invited to join us for this 3-week experiential, discussion-based class that explores Christianity's grittiest questions as we wrestle with doubts while learning to anchor our faith to the Creeds of the church.
Join Matt Bisel, Pastor and Lead Director of Adult Discipleship along with Shannon Starek, Pastor (Downtown) and Director of Adult Discipleship on Tuesday, April 9, 16 & 23 at Resurrection Leawood (Wesley Covenant Chapel - 13720 Roe Ave., Leawood, KS 66224) or online starting at 6:30pm for FREE dinner (for those in-person), followed by the class from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. Plus, get a FREE coffee gift card if you invite a friend to join!
Beginning Wednesday, April 10
Millennials get a reputation for "job-hopping." People born between the years 1980 and 1996 are said to move freely from one company to the next. But what if there is more to this narrative? Join us at our Young Adult Community Groups beginning on Wednesday, April 10 as we hear the wild stories of people who quit and the beauty that can be discovered only through quitting.
Thursday, May 9
Stop by Resurrection Brookside on your way to work on Thursday, May 9 at 8:15 AM to hear from inspiring leaders and to connect with other young professionals!
Sundays
Join Pastor Justin Schoolcraft for an engaging Sunday morning Bible study. This informal class will be a weekly opportunity to dive into the biblical text in an effort to understand the dominant ideas that permeate God's story. We'll spend time each week reflecting on the implications of the week's passage on our daily lives, starting with Genesis and then moving straight through the Bible. This class is intentionally multigenerational, and we'll be at our best when people of all ages are present. You do NOT need to have been present the previous week to join - just come when you can!
Beginning Wednesday, May 8
Did you know that how well you know yourself can affect how well you know others – and God?
Who Am I? is a 4-week workshop to help you grow in understanding who you are, how you are made, and how you engage with the world and others. We’ll explore these ideas through the lenses of how God sees you, the Enneagram, and your spiritual gifts. Then we’ll bring it all together and send you out from the workshop with a plan to become more aware of who God has made you to be. Join us on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM starting on May 8th at Resurrection Leawood in the Wesley Covenant Chapel.
