We welcome visiting groups to Resurrection. Whether your group is planning to attend one of our worship services, take a tour our campus or meet with our staff members to share ministry experience and ideas, we look forward to seeing you soon at Resurrection. Please complete the visiting group request form to provide us with details of your visit.
For visiting groups or churches of 10 or more, we will reserve seats for you in our Sanctuary when possible. Check in at our Connection Point to be greeted and escorted to your seats.
Our top priority is to provide a safe and welcoming experience for everyone. To that end, here are a few logistical notes to keep in mind when visiting and/or attending worship:
Our sanctuary is designed to be a sacred space, a sermon in architecture, and a tool through which we strive towards our vision of changing lives, renewing churches, and transforming the community. We’d love to share our space with you! We offer guided tours to visiting groups, scheduled at least one week in advance. Registration is required. A Resurrection Tour Ministry Leader will contact you to finalize arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred date/time, but please know that previously scheduled events such as church events, funerals and weddings will take priority over space availability for tours.
See the hours listed at the top of this page for when the Sanctuary is open to the public. If you don’t require a guided tour, you are welcome to visit and enjoy this space at your convenience. Please stop by our Connection Point in the narthex to pick up a printed brochure that explains the symbolism in the art and architecture of the building.
Please Note: There may be occasional times when events (funerals, weddings, conferences, special events, etc.) are happening in the sanctuary, and we ask that you do not enter the Sanctuary if an event is taking place in the space when you arrive. Check our events calendar to find a schedule of events or contact the Reception Desk at 913-897-0120 to verify the Sanctuary’s availability.
Our staff and volunteer ministry leaders are passionate about sharing our ministry experiences, and we love learning from you, too. At the discretion of our staff coordinator and pending staff availability, we will facilitate meetings with the staff member or volunteer leader who can best answer your ministry-specific questions.
Please complete the visiting group request form to provide us with details of your visit.
