The Fall semester of ZONE has begun if you are interested in getting your child involved in ZONE this semester please contact
Nick Ransom for more information.
ZONE is a fun, interactive program on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:30 for children in kindergarten - 4th grade. Each year we have two semesters, one in the fall and one in the winter/spring.
The program includes small group time, large group dramas, praise & worship and rotational activities (snacks, games, etc.) each week. Children are divided up into small groups with an adult leader for the entire semester. Kids spend each Wednesday evening with their small group participating in different activities and getting to know each other. At the close of the night, each small group spends time journaling together in their faith journals (provided).
Cost for ZONE is $20 (scholarships available).
We will be offering a few meals prior to the start of ZONE in the narthex of Building A. Meals will be less than $5 per person and will be available between 5:15-6:00 pm prior to the start of ZONE. We hope you’ll take advantage of these. More info to come!
Serve At ZONE: ZONE could not operate without awesome youth and adult leaders serving each week. Here are some of the volunteer opportunities at ZONE:

KiDSCOR Early Learning Program is an early childhood education program designed for children ages 2-5. It is supportive of each child's spiritual, physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.
The High Scope early childhood curriculum is implemented in the program. Through a variety of developmentally appropriate experiences in art, music and movement, science, literature and math, children learn what they need to know and be able to do to be successful lifelong learners.
Our emphasis is on helping each child discover his/her interests and abilities. The teaching staff provides a warm, nurturing environment where each child can grow in confidence knowing that she is safe and loved. Classes are large enough to provide children with opportunities to make friends, and small enough to give each child individual attention.
Learning what it means to be a Christian is incorporated into weekly chapel times and throughout the school day as teachers expose the children to prayers, Bible stories and songs. Christian principles are woven into the fabric of every day and every interaction among children and adults.
For questions about KiDSCOR Early Learning Program call Holly Fohlmeister at (913) 544-0726, or email using the form below.

Cuddle, bounce, and bop with your baby in Kindermusik's newest curriculum. Whether your baby is five weeks or five months, this class will be perfect for you!
With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this parent-child music and movement class will help you strengthen those early parent-child bonds, understand your baby’s development, and heavily focus on child development and communication with your baby. You and your baby will enjoy instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time—and you’ll get expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in baby development.
Get ready to sing, play, and move with your little one in this high-energy music class designed to be just right for children under two years of age. This new Kindermusik curriculum focuses on your child's beginning movement, helping to build the muscles your baby needs to walk, and vocal development, helping to nurture your child’s speaking and singing voice.
With a mix of both parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities, you’ll be able to join right in on all the singing and dancing while also getting the chance to observe how your older baby or toddler learns on her own. Embark on Kindermusik’s fun new exploration of singing, swaying, laughing, and playing through Sing & Play, a just-right mix of early-childhood vocal play and language development, together time, and music and movement activities!
This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening.
In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the Kindermusik@Home digital home materials, including music from class, musical activities, and each month’s story.
Class Times for 2-3 year olds:
Class Times for Family Time Format:
Each week in class we combine your preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth, and self-control. We also connect you with other parents who share in the wonder of parenting a preschooler. Parents join class for the final activities.
The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and each month’s story everywhere you go. The repetition enhances the learning—and the fun!

We can't run children's choir without parent help. General duties involve bathroom breaks, check-in, putting away rehearsal room equipment, managing snacks and check-out.
If each choir family took one slot each semester, we would be filled! Volunteer dates are listed through Spring Break, and more will be added later. The signup form will let you select your choir preference. We will do our best to put you with your child's choir. Choose dates that work for you. Each week, a specific email is sent out with instructions for that particular rehearsal.
All volunteers are required to complete a background check, which you can apply for here. Volunteers also need to complete Safe Gatherings training. This is the same information required for KIDSCOR, so if you help out there, you don't need to do it again for choir.
Thank you so much for your willingness to serve!
