The ShareChurch Team

Debi Nixon

Managing Executive Director of Regional Campuses and ShareChurch

Debi serves as the liaison for our regional campuses and works on our multisite vision, strategy and implementation. Additionally, she serves alongside the team that works to equip and resource local church leaders through conferences, teaching events, speaking, partner church ministry and the sharing of resources.

As a person who grew up in a small town, Debi has a deep passion for the ministry of the rural church. She and her husband, Reed, met in college at Missouri State and married in 1984. Their children are grown and Debi and Reed treasure each and every moment they are able to spend time with them. As empty nesters, they enjoy being at the lake, cooking, participating in their small group and taking evening walks.

Debi's favorite prayer is one we prayed as a congregation several years ago, but is still one she prays almost every day:

"God grant us the vision to see the plans for your church, and the courage and boldness to pursue them. Amen."

Partner Churches

Our Partner Church Ministry works with churches throughout the country to renew the United Methodist Church so that together we can more effectively change lives and transform communities through the power of Jesus Christ.

We see this partnership model as the modern equivalent of the circuit rider system that was instrumental in the early growth Methodism. In our model, each partner church is independent and maintains its charge through its own conference, but it has access to resources and training through Church of the Resurrection and the other partner churches that it would never have otherwise.

Together - in partnership with one another - we can renew and revitalize our denomination and other mainline churches. To explore whether being a Partner Church is right for your church, contact Jonathan Bell.

Current Partner Churches include:

  • Asbury UMC, Ponca City, OK
  • First UMC, Roseville, CA
  • Hastings UMC, Hastings, MN
  • Highfill UMC, Highfill, AR
  • New Horizons UMC, Columbia, MO
  • Ruthven UMC, Ruthven, IA
  • St. Paul’s UMC, San Bernardino, CA
  • Wright's Chapel UMC, Ruther Glen, VA
  • Wyandotte UMC, Kansas City, KS
