Primary Responsibilities:

  • Bless callers and walk-in guests by offering a positive first impression of Church of the Resurrection.
  • Play a key role in supporting all church ministries by handling high volume calls to the church office and numerous walk-in visitors.

Leawood: Production Director/Systems Engineer - Building C (40 Hours, Exempt, Benefits Eligible)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and provide technical production support for the Leawood campus – Building C, primarily supporting production for Student Ministries’ large group gatherings and worship.
  • Plan and execute all technical production components including, but not limited to, audio, lighting, graphics, video, and staging.
  • Advanced troubleshooting for all video and lighting systems in Building C to ensure minimal disruption from technical failures during live events.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and empower all production volunteers for weekly and weekend events.
  • Evening and weekend hours required.

Main qualifications:

  • 5 years’ experience in technical production including Video/Audio/Lighting/Graphics/Staging.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain technical systems.
  • Strong organization and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Mac and PC platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Pro Presenter, and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Experience working with students, age 12 to 18, preferred.

Leawood: Behavior Specialist - Adult Special Needs Program (40 Hours, Nonexempt)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engagement activities for adults with special needs.
  • Daily interaction and direct care as a teaching assistant to adult learners with special needs.
  • Collaborate with SALP Coordinator and other staff to develop and implement behavior plans, as needed. 
  • Partner with SALP Coordinator, other staff and volunteers to equip and empower learners to engage in program activities to their full potential.
  • Foster good communication with learners, caregivers, volunteers and staff team

Main qualifications:

  • Proven ability and prior experience working with adults with special needs including autism, down syndrome, learning disabilities and other cognitive and/or physical disabilities.
  • Applied behavior certification preferred or experience with behavior management programs.

Leawood: Middle School Program Director (40 Hours, Exempt, Benefits Eligible)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate and equip staff, volunteers, and student leaders to effectively mobilize Rezlife for ministry with students.
  • Regularly connect and converse with teenagers in the program setting.
  • Provide leadership and direction for middle school programming, including youth group, Sunday school, small groups, Bible studies, mission trips and special events (i.e. camps, retreats).
  • Provide leadership and direction for evangelism and marketing to attract more students into the program.

 Main qualifications:

  • Prior youth ministry experience - preferably a minimum of 3 years.
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to connect with students, parents, volunteers and staff.
  • Ability to teach and lead youth, both in small and large group settings.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Managerial and logistical support for nursery ministry.
  • Build and maintain high functioning teams through supervision of classroom staff and volunteers.

  • Coordinate programming details such as age age-appropriate curriculum, activities and music.
  • Work in cooperation with Director of Children’s Ministry on budget, communications, strategic planning and vision for the ministry.

West: Student Ministries Worship Leader (20-25 Hours, Exempt)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead worship with the student ministry band on Wednesday nights and assist the Director of Student Ministries with programming. This can include youth group, Sunday School, student ministry events and trips, summer camp, and occasional weekend activities.
  • Assist the Director of Worship Arts in preparing, rehearsing, and leading worship each Sunday as well as for special events and programming.
  • Build healthy one-on-one relationships with students, providing care and living as a Christ-like role model.

Main qualifications:

  • Mastery of at least one instrument with the ability to lead worship.
  • Ability to communicate/relate to students and their families.
  • Musical aptitude to lead others in worship through song and praise. Able to design music ministries particularly for students and adults.
